RINGGOLD TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a Punxsy man escaped major injury Wednesday evening when he wrecked his pickup truck on Pheasant Hollow Road in Ringgold Township.
Police say Christopher Reed, 33, of Punxsutawney, was driving a 2010 Ford F150 south around a left-hand turn when he lost control of the truck while trying to avoid hitting a deer that was standing on the road.
Reed’s truck traveled up an embankment before rolling over.
Reed, who was wearing his seat belt, suffered a minor cut over his left eye in the crash.
