Summerville Man Arrested for DUI Following Redbank Township Rollover Crash

REDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Summerville man was taken into custody for suspected DUI following a crash in Redbank Township on Saturday evening.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 6:51 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 42-year-old Jason P. Hollobaugh was operating a 2015 Bombardier Maverick 1000, traveling north on State Route 28 near Macadam Road when his vehicle went off the east side of the roadway while attempting to make a right turn onto Macadam Road.

Police say the vehicle proceeded through a field and merged back onto Macadam Road but then drove off a small embankment where Hollobaugh lost control. The vehicle then rolled over onto its driver’s side and came to a final rest facing west.

Hollobaugh was wearing a seat belt and suffered possible injuries but refused transport.

According to police, he was cited for a speed violation and was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

Southern Clarion County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
