Slush-Covered Roadway Causes Crash on Route 28, Driver Injured

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.REDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say around 8:25 a.m. on January 29, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 28, north of Carriage Road, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 20-year-old Hunter N. Bell, of Reynoldsville, was traveling north on Route 28 and lost control of a 2005 Ford Focus on the slush-covered roadway.

Bell’s car traveled onto the east berm where it impacted a dirt embankment with the front of the vehicle. The car then rotated in a clockwise manner and struck the embankment a second time with its rear. The car came to a final rest on the east berm area pointing in a southwest direction.

Clarion EMS transported Bell to Brookville Hospital for suspected minor injuries.

Bell was charged with a traffic violation.
