Man Accused of Raping 12-year-old Girl in Jefferson County

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police have filed charges against a DuBois man in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a young girl.

DuBois-based State Police say Douglas E. Bloom, Jr., of Dubois, is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old female.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred at a residence in Snyder Township, Jefferson County, between April 1, 2016, and June 12, 2016.

Bloom has been charged with five counts each of the following offenses:

  • Rape of a Child
  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse
  • Corruptions of Minors
  • Indecent Assault
