Police Investigating Theft by Deception at Fremer’s Market in Snyder Township

state_policeSNYDER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police are investigating an incident of theft by deception that occurred at Fremer’s Market located at 8976 Route 219 in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, on April 14 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., an unknown perpetrator entered the store and made multiple purchases with a stolen credit card. On a later date the card was reported stolen by its owner and the purchases were not honored.

Police are describing the perpetrator as an African American male standing approximately 6′ tall and weighing about 180 lbs. He was described as being in his 50s.
