‘Prehistoric Occupations at Fishbasket” Presentation Set for October 15

Ken Burkett Excavation PhotoBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Woodland Owners of Clarion-Allegheny Valley present “Prehistoric Occupations at Fishbasket” on October 15.

This free and open to the public program will teach about Native Americans at New Bethlehem.

It will take place at 7:00 p.m. on October 15 at the Jefferson County History Center, located at 176 Main Street in Brookville.

A presentation by an expert will discuss local prehistoric civilization, including food, culture, customs, and beliefs.

Learn why the Redbank Creek at New Bethlehem is called “Fishbasket,” and tour the museum after the program.
