PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – A Punxsutawney man has been charged with two counts of simple assault among other charges.
According to online court documents, Steven J. Meholic, 30, of Punxsutawney faces the following charges at District Court 54-03-01 in Punxsutawney for an incident which occurred on September 8, 2015:
- Simple assault – Misdemeanor 2 (two counts)
- Recklessly endangering another person – Misdemeanor 2
- Terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another – Misdemeanor 1
Meholic was arraigned at 10:30 a.m. September 8, 2015 before District Judge Gregory Bazylak. Unable to post bail of $50,000.00, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
Online court documents indicate Meholic is awaiting a preliminary hearing as of September 14, 2015.
