Punxsutawney Man Cited for Hit-and-Run at Walmart

YOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Punxsutawney man was cited after hitting another vehicle in the Walmart parking lot in Young Township and then driving away.

According to police, around 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 50-year-old Randall K. Bush of Punxsutawney was operating a 2003 Dodge RAM in the parking lot of the Walmart, adjacent to a parked 2010 Honda Crosstour.

Police say Bush attempted to back up and struck the Honda, the exited his vehicle to inspect the damage before returning to his vehicle and driving away.

According to police, Bush made no attempt to contact the driver of the Honda, who was inside the store at the time of the crash, or to claim responsibility for his actions.

No injuries were reported.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Bush was cited for an accident involving damage to unattended vehicle.
