PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – The Punxsy Dash 4 Diabetes 5K Race/1 Mile Walk/2 Mile Color Dash will be held Saturday, June 6, in Punxsutawney.
The run/walk will begin at the skate park located just off of Route 36.
Registration for the 5K race and one mile walk will begin a 9:30 a.m. with the race starting at 11:00 a.m. Registration for the Color Dash opens at 11:00 a.m. and the dash will begin at noon.
The last day to pre-register is Thursday, May 28. Pre-registrations must be postmarked on or before May 28.
The cost to register for the 5K Race and the Color Dash is $15.00 in advance or $20.00 the day of the event. The fee for the one mile walk is $10.00 in advance or $20.00 at the event.
Only pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt on race day.
Parking will be at the Primary Health Network or Jefferson County Assistance Office.
Proceeds from the event benefit the American Diabetes Association.
