Punxsy Man Accused of Attacking Victim Following Vehicle Accident

PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Punxsutawney man is facing charges after he allegedly attacked and struck a man who hit his vehicle.

Court documents indicate the Punxsutawney-based State Police filed criminal charges against 46-year-old David Andrew Phillips.

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:01 a.m. on September 1, 2019, a known victim was doing donuts in a field and lost control of his vehicle, which caused him to hit David Andrew Phillips‘s vehicle.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, with Judge Bazylak presiding.

A certified summons was issued to Phillips on October 2.
