Punxsy Woman Life-Flighted Following Crash on Route 210

NORTH MAHONING TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Punxsutawney woman was life-flighted to Allegheny General Hospital following a crash on State Route 210 on Saturday afternoon.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, the accident happened around 12:23 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, on Route 210, in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, involving 33-year-old Arielle A. Fetterman, of Punxutawney.

Police say Fetterman was traveling south on Route 210, negotiating a right curve in the southbound lane and drove off the west side of the roadway, down an embankment, and struck a fence. Her 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander then struck an embankment.

Allegheny General Hospital Life Flight Medic 940 transported Fetterman to Allegheny General Hospital for suspected serious injuries. Police noted that she suffered facial injuries from the impact with the embankment.

Fetterman was using a seat belt.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Rebuck’s Towing.

Plumville Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
