Ralph L. Mumford, 82, of Stonehedge Circle, Brookville, passed away Tuesday, January 6 at home.
Born February 27, 1932 in Brookville, Ralph was the son of Walter Mumford and Cena Rhodes Mumford.
Ralph married Joyce Stahlman, who survives, on January 22, 1955 in Corsica, Pa.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
Ralph was employed at Mumford Lumber Co., Mumford Logging, Mumford Tire and Repair, Stahlman Coal Company in Brookville, and Exxon for 28 years.
He attended the Mt. Pleasant Independent Baptist Church in Corsica and was a member of the NRA.
In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by one son, Gary L. Mumford (Beverly) of Corsica, Pa. and one daughter, Valerie A. McKinley (Richard) of Brookville, Pa. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Nancy Fiscus, Virginia Royer, and Hazel Davidson; one infant sister; and three brothers, Dick Mumford, Eugene Mumford, and Ivan Mumford.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, Pa.
Services will be held Friday, January 9 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jim Chase.
Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Corsica Pa.
