Randall “Randy” Lawrence Dolby

Randall “Randy” Lawrence Dolby, 66, of Brookville, died Saturday, September 7, 2019, at home following an illness.

He was born on October 30, 1952, in Brookville. The son of the late Paul I. and Phyllis Smith Hinderliter Dolby. Randy graduated from Clarion Limestone High School. He retired from Wampum Hardware where he was a Blaster.

Randy served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion. Randy enjoyed hunting and fishing

He is survived by his children; Lisa Dolby and her fiancé Mark Slabon of Mayport and Tara Dolby of Florida, a step-son Kevin Hoffman; grandchildren, Shawnee Dolby, Vivian Curll, Gavin Slabon and Taylor Hoffman; brothers, Blake Hinderliter of Shippenville and Jim Hinderliter and his wife Patricia of Strattanville and a sister, Jacqueline Smith and her husband Leonard of Marble. He is also survived by his longtime friends Beverly Hoffman and Joey Caldwell, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Paula Ellen Bowser.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Evans presiding.
