Ranney M. McCartney

Ranney M. McCartney, 53, of Penfield, passed Friday, April 20, 2018, at his home.

He was born on June 26, 1964, in West Chester, the son of Barbara (Smith) Toner and Jack McCartney.

Ranney enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He had a true passion for raising all various types of livestock and wildlife.

He is survived by his mother Barbara (Smith) Toner and her companion Gene Blevins of Downingtown, his father, Jack McCartney and his wife Carol of Westlawn, PA; a son, Vincent McCartney and his wife Rebecca of Penfield; three grandchildren: Vincent Jr., Bethany and Maggie McCartney; his wife, Terry Lynn Kelly; three sisters: Maryjane McCartney of Jacksonville, FL, Kim Napoli and her husband Gary of Coatesville, PA, Mischelle Ceulers and her husband Brian of Coatesville, PA; two brothers: James Joseph Toner and his significant other Shelia Hancotte of Downingtown, PA, and Thomas Toner and his wife Julie of Parkesburg, PA; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Dorothy Cushing.

At the wishes of the family all services are private.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc.
