Reynoldsville Man Behind Bars After Allegedly Hitting, Strangling Woman During Domestic Dispute

REYNOLDSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a Reynoldsville man reportedly struck and strangled a woman during a domestic dispute earlier this month.

According to police, the incident occurred on April 4, around 11:22 p.m. on the 200 block of West Main Street in Reynoldsville Borough, Jefferson County.

The incident involved 39-year-old James Neal and a known woman.

According to police, officers responded to an incident of a reported domestic dispute in which Neal had strangled and struck the known woman causing physical injuries.

The victim was transported by Dubois EMS to Penn Highlands Emergency Room.

Neal was taken into custody and transported to Jefferson County Jail.

Charges against Neal are pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 26.
