– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (10 counts)

Blake is currently free on $60,000.00 unsecured bail.

The charges stem from a probation check in early April.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, around 2:00 p.m. on April 2, Jefferson County Probation officers conducted a warrantless search of a residence on East Main Street occupied by James Warren Blake III.

The complaint notes the visit was initiated by several anonymous tips probation had received regarding drug trafficking allegedly occurring from the residence.

According to the complaint, Blake agreed to a warrantless search of the residence, and K-9 Iron and his handler assisted in the search.

The complaint states during the search, officers heard Blake in his bedroom near a window, and K-9 Iron indicated something in the area of the window, and a bag of marijuana was then recovered in the roof of the residence.

According to the complaint, when asked about the marijuana, Blake allegedly also admitted to having a snuff can containing methamphetamine and more marijuana in his bedroom.

The following items were then recovered from a nightstand near Blake’s bed: a Skoal snuff can containing four grams of methamphetamine, 2.5 ounces of marijuana, several ziplock baggies and a scale used for packaging and distribution of controlled substances, five glass pipes, aluminum foil, wax paper, and a green glass plate with white residue.

The evidence was all collected and was turned over to the Reynoldsville Borough Police Department.

Blake was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana at 3:00 p.m. on May 31.
