Reynoldsville Man Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash on Route 119

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225BELL TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a one-car accident occurred yesterday on State Route 119, west of Apple Street, in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 29-year-old Kenneth M. Lovelace, of Reynoldsville, was traveling north on Route 119 around 6:16 p.m. when a deer entered the roadway from the west. Lovelace was unable to avoid the deer, and his 2013 Subaru Legacy struck it in the northern lane of travel.

Lovelace was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The car sustained heavy front end damage and was removed from the scene by Groundhog Towing.
