WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash yesterday on North Pancoast Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.
The accident happened around 4:20 p.m. when 19-year-old Hunter G. Richardson, of Reynoldsville, lost control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid a deer on the roadway.
Police say Richardson’s 1999 GMC Sonoma “barrel-rolled” onto its roof and struck an embankment before landing in a ditch.
Richardson was not injured.
No charges were filed in the crash.
