Richard A. “Dick” Reasinger, Sr., age 82, Kiwanis Trail, DuBois, PA died Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on August 24, 1935, in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late William Reasinger, Sr. and Etha (Guiher) Reasinger.
On June 21, 1958, he married Barbara A. (Glatt) Reasinger. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2015.
He was a member of the United States Army Reserves.
Dick retired from Triangle Auto Springs after over 20 years of service. Previous to that, he, along with his brothers owned & operated Modern Cleaners.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, enjoyed hunting & fishing, and was a member of the Middle Ridge Sportsman Club.
Dick is survived by his sons, Richard A. Reasinger, Jr. of Rockton, PA, Jerry A. Reasinger of DuBois, PA and Mark A. Reasinger of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by 4 sisters (Marilyn Ross & her husband Michael of Brockport, Pa; Karen Shobert & her husband David of DuBois, PA; Marlene Fletcher of DuBois, Pa; and Diane Dandoy & her husband Larry of Kersey, PA)
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers (Duane & William Reasinger, Jr.), a sister (Linda Shaffer)and an infant sister (Cheryl Reasinger)
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on. Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 10 am. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
