Robert “Bob” Duttry, 71, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born October 22, 1950, he was the son of Shirley Lewis and Robert Giles.
Bob was raised by Hillard and Ida Mae Duttry.
Bob graduated from the Dubois Area High School in 1966 and served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1971.
He truly enjoyed his employment for DuBois Area School District until his retirement.
Bob loved his family and friends greatly.
Bob enjoyed NASCAR and never missed a race at Hummingbird Raceway, even working on a pit crew for many years.
Bob LOVED Dale Earnhardt Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lowmaster Duttry, son, Nathan Robert Duttry, sisters, Deborah Burton and Kathy Wyant, brothers, Tim and Jon Giles, as well as his dog, Oscar.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, daughter, Nicole “Nikki” Duttry (2011), and his brother, Robert Giles Jr.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, June 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Between visitations, a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. from the funeral chapel.
Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
