Robert “Bob” P. Ross

Robert “Bob” P. Ross, 67, Reynoldsville, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018, at his home.

Born April 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Franklin and Jane (Depp) Ross.

On October 29, 1977, he married Betty L. (Anderson) Ross in Clearfield, PA. She survives.

Bob graduated from Clearfield High School. He retired as a conductor from the B & P Railroad in 2010. Bob was a member of the Falls Creek Eagles #965, VFW Post #813 in DuBois, American Legion #17, Sandy Hose Co. #1, and Pulaski Club. He enjoyed farming, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Bob was Catholic by faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by three children, Steve Phillips, DuBois, Eric “E.J.” (Brittny) Ross, Las Vegas, and Brandee Ross, DuBois; eight grandchildren, Danielle, Sara, Shawn, Cole, R.C., Kylee, Carder, and Maddison; two brothers, Russell Ross, Sykesville, and Ray (Gail) Ross, Clearfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard Ross, and an infant sister, Mary Jane.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel with LaMarr Adamson CLP officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
