Robert Donald Brown, 69, formerly of Jefferson County, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at his home in York.
Robert was a son of A.D. Brown and the late Helen Shirey Brown. He was the widower of Cheryl Ott Brown. Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy, and was retired from Performance Friction.
In addition to his father, Robert is survived by sons, Scott Brown (Alisa), Brian Brown (Stephanie), Jason Brown (Lou), Corey Brown, daughter, Dana Giles (Jamie), sisters, Deanna Castle, Patti Brown, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family would like to say a special thanks to Adrian Teno for her love and support.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. William Cofield officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Jason and Lou Brown, 373 W Old Limestone Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
