Robert J. “Bob” Brink

85b778a211626e75[1]Robert J. “Bob” Brink, 80 of Rossiter, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mr. Brink was born July 3, 1934 in Rossiter a son of the late John and Veronice (Janocha) Brink.

He was a veteran of the US Army. Bob was preceeded in death by his first wife, Patsy L. (Stalhman) Brink and is survived by his second wife Barbara (Astorino) Brink of Rossiter.

They were married April 19, 1997.

He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Rossiter, UMWA and the Rossiter American Legion.

He loved gardening and feeding the squirrels at the Resurrection Cemetery for 25 years.

He was a very hard working man.

In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by his sons; Robert P. Brink and wife Melissa of Rossiter, Timothy J. Brink and wife Joyce of Punxsutawney, Daniel J. Brink and wife Michelle of Rossiter, daughter Amy Sue Behrendt and husband Mike of Punxsutawney, and grandchildren; Adam Brink and wife Rachael, Olivia Astorino, Zachariah Brink, Macy Brink, Mesha Brink, Mikeelee Brink, Bronson Brink, Lucy Hawk, and Ty Behrendt; and also great grandchildren Cruz Astorino and Owen Brink.

In addition to his first wife Patsy of 33 years, he is preceeded in death by his brothers; Richard and William Brink, and sister Eleanor Brink.

Friends will be recieved Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 6-8 PM; Monday, May 25, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Church of the Resurrection in Rossiter with Fr. Tim Kruthautt as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Rossiter.
