Roger A. McAninch

Roger A. McAninch, 65, of Brookville, died Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.

Born December 11, 1949 in Brookville, Roger was the son of Donal F. McAninch (who survives in Brookville) and Joyce Beers McAninch (deceased).

Roger married Sherry L. Carrier on June 10, 1972 in Brookville, Pa. He was preceded in death by his wife in April 2007.

Throughout his life, he worked for Beverage-Air and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #983 in Brookville.

Roger was an avid bowler who also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lynn Miller (David R.), of Brookville, and Ashely Dawn McAninch, of Brookville; two sisters, Deborah K. Rafferty (Richard), of Brookville, and Shelley E. Haines (Robert), of Brookville; and five grandchildren, Quinton McAninch, Zaelynn Phillips, Abigale, Luke, and Troy Miller.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother and his wife.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, Pa.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 11 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Joni Williams officiating.

Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Knox Township, Jefferson County.
