Ronald ‘Butch’ K. Carrick

Ronald “Butch” K. Carrick, 73, of Lakeville, MN, born in Punxsutawney, PA, passed away on March 16, 2018.

Butch proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller after 30 years.

Butch touched many lives through his activism in numerous organizations such as the Lakeville Athletic Association, Jaycees, Zuhrah Shriners, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Butch is survived by his children, Troy Carrick and Lauren (Jeff) Wallen; and their mother Lynne Johnson; grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Alexxa, Arianna and Logan; brothers, David “Bud” (Esther) and Myron “Myke” Carrick; sister-in-law Ruth Ann Carrick; and also by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Olive; brothers, James “Jim” (Donna), Charles “Gene” (Jeannie), and G. Richard “Dick” Carrick.

Memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the White Funeral Home 20134 Kenwood Tr. (Co Rd 50) Lakeville (952-469-2723) with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
