Ruth Dunmire, 90, of Anderson, IN, passed away, August 21, 2018, at Bridgewater Healthcare in Carmel.
She was born, August 25, 1927, in Rossiter, Pennsylvania and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a Homemaker.
She was a member of South Meridian Church of God, American Bowling Congress, Daughters of the American Revolution, Happy Hearts Home Ec Club, and the Rambling Hoosiers Camping Club.
Ruth is survived by her son, Gerald (Kathy) Dunmire of Cicero, IN, daughter, Christine (James) Caddell of Frankfort, IN, sister, Annamae Paul, grandchildren, Rachel (Wade) Wehrenberg, Kevin (Beth) Dunmire, Heather (Jason) Wickersham, great-grandchildren, Megan Zebell, Alex Ossenbeck, Allison Dunmire, Emmett Dunmire, Owen Wickersham, Miles Wickersham, two sisters-in-law, Carol Berger, and OmaJean Dunmire. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews and special neighbors, Bill and Tammy, Dick and Diane, Frannie, Gene and Lois, and Scott and Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dunmire, father, Lewis Elmer Olson, her mother, Chleora Olson, her grandmother, Anna Brickell States, two sisters, Esther Lewis, Marcella Corrinne, and grandson, Andrew Caddell.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.
Services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Lund officiating.
Burial will take place in the Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton, IN.
