Safe Stolen During Henderson Township Burglary

HENDERSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A safe was stolen during a burglary that recently occurred at a location in Henderson Township.

Around 7:20 a.m. on Monday, October 26, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a location on State Route 410 in Henderson Township, Jefferson County, for a report of a burglary.

Upon arriving at the scene, it was determined that sometime between 6:00 p.m. on October 24 and 5:30 a.m. on October 26, forced entry was used to enter the structure.

An unknown individual(s) then entered and stole a safe containing an unspecified amount of U.S. currency and other valuable items and personal information, then fled in an unknown direction, according to police.

The victims of the crime are listed as a 34-year-old Punxsutawney man and a 70-year-old Punxsutawney man.
