WALKERSVILLE, MD – A Maryland man won $30,000 after buying a scratch off lottery ticket that another customer rejected.

The 62-year-old man bought the ticket after another customer decided not to purchase it because the clerk mistakenly grabbed a different type of scratch-off ticket than the one the customer requested.
