Say What?!: Moose Pays Unexpected Visit to Idaho City

NAMPA, Idaho – The Nampa Police Department in Idaho was forced to request backup from state wildlife officials when a moose somehow made its way into the usually moose-free city.

Officers worked to keep the roaming moose out of traffic until officials from the Idaho Fish and Game Commission arrived and tranquilized it before moving it to a more suitable habitat.

It remains unclear how the moose found its way into the city.
