Say What?!: Lost Pre-Renaissance Painting Discovered Hanging in Woman’s Kitchen

COMPIEGNE, France – A long-lost 13th-century painting was recently discovered hanging in a French woman’s kitchen.

The painting, which had numerous tests performed to confirm its authenticity, is the work of 13th-century Italian artist Cimabue, aka Cenni di Pepo.

It is scheduled to be auctioned by Acteon on October 27.
