ESCAMBIA CO., Fl. – A commercial motor vehicle pulling a trailer with live chickens/roosters came to an abrupt stop due to traffic on I-10 eastbound, when the unthinkable happened and the cage door opened allowing the chickens to escape.
Authorities recovered about 100 chickens that got loose from a truck Thursday afternoon, meanwhile the driver left the scene prior to troopers arriving.
