ISIOLO, Kenya – Rescuers poured about 26 gallons of water into a thirsty elephant’s trunk after the large animal became stuck in a muddy well.
The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Isiolo, Kenya, posted a video to Facebook showing the dehydrated elephant being given water poured into its trunk after the mammal was trapped overnight in a muddy well at a Northern Rangelands Trust community conservancy.
