CANBERRA, Australia – Up to 700 people gathered on the lawns of Australia’s Parliament House to roll down the hill for potentially the last time before proposed fences are built.
Lester Yao, 34, a Canberra architect, started a Facebook event to gather friends and family on the Parliament House lawns Saturday to observe the unofficial local tradition of rolling down the hill, and the event soon went viral with hundreds of people RSVPing.
