LUCERNE VALLEY, California (EYT) – A mountain lion was spotted in California atop a 35-foot utility pole not far from the town of Cougar Buttes.
Residents reported seeing the lion on the pole recently, and it climbed down later that same evening.
Birds perched on the nearby wires reported squawked loudly at the “intruder.”
