Say What?!: Nashville Fire Dept. Rescues Cat Named Thomas Jefferson from Drainpipe

swejNASHVILLE – The Nashville Fire Department rescued a cat named Thomas Jefferson from a drainpipe on Election Day, and shared live updates about the rescue on Twitter.

The department first shared a story of a rescue of a parrot that escaped its cage and flew into a tree, but bumped the coverage of “Election Day Parrot” in favor of “Drainpipe Kitty.”
