LINCOLNTON, North Carolina – Two North Carolina men accused of stealing trail cameras were quickly identified and arrested when one of the cameras continued emailing photos to the owner.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Billy Ray Green, Jr., 29, and Scottie Andrew Brooks, 33, allegedly stole the two cameras, which were both affixed to the same tree on owner Gary Howard’s property in Lincolnton, in late December.
