The scenic country roads of the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors region beckon bikers from all around, and through the sunny summer and cool autumn months, you’ll find more interesting roads here than you’ll have time to explore.

To help you decide where to ride, we teamed up with DuBois Harley-Davidson, known as the most unique Harley-Davidson shop in the world, to create the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Biker’s Ride Guide.
This useful brochure presents four distinct loops — Clarion’s Countryside, Fantastic Forests, Elk Country, and Groundhog Loop — each of which features its own unique character and range of highlights. Each offers views of gorgeous fall foliage through the mountains, hills, and valleys of the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors region. Of special significance is Wykoff Run Road in the Quehanna Wild Area, which features amazing sweeps and turns following a beautiful mountain stream with pull-offs for viewing several beautiful waterfalls. Part of the Elk Country Loop, it’s consistently rated one of the top motorcycle rides in Pennsylvania.
The loops range from 82 to 107 miles in length and can be knocked off in less than 2.5 hours each, but what’s the fun in that? For bikers, the journey is often more of the focus than the destination, and as you enjoy the freedom of the road here, you’ll find plenty to make the journey worthwhile.
Fill up before you head out — the rural nature of the region creates a few long stretches between gas stations — and enjoy your ride!
