Scuffle Ensues During Banks Township Burglary

BANKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a burglary occurred late Saturday night at a private residence located along Cameron Road, in Banks Township, Indiana County.

According to police, around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 41-year-old James M. Fetterman, of Rossiter, allegedly arrived at the above-described location and entered the residence through a window. A scuffle ensued.

Fetterman allegedly departed the residence with personal items owned by the victim.

Fetterman was later located and taken into custody.

The victims are a 23-year-old Rossiter woman and a 25-year-old Brookville man.

Charges have been filed and he is waiting for a preliminary arraignment.
