Snow-Covered Roads Cause One-Car Crash in Winslow Twp; Teen Escapes Injury

police-lights-3WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 2:29 p.m. on December 11, a one-car accident occurred on Wayne Road, at Palumbo Road, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

This crash occurred as a 2015 Ford Fiesta was traveling east on Wayne Road.

The driver – 19-year-old Noah S. Brown, of Uxbridge, MA – was negotiating a curve to the right on snow-covered roads and lost control of the car. It crossed the center line and traveled off the north berm, impacting an embankment with its front end. It came to a final rest against the embankment, police say.

The car was disabled from the crash.

Brown was not injured; he was using a seat belt.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
