‘Snowshoe Cook Forest at Night’ Set for Tonight

photo_5932COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – A “Snowshoe Cook Forest at Night: Fire Tower Road” event will be held Friday, March 20, at 7:00 p.m.

Participants are invited to bring snowshoes and headlamps for a three mile interpretive snowshoe program along Fire Tower Road to Seneca Point.

The group will meet at the Nuthole Cabin located at the entrance of Ridge Camp.

Participants will learn how to identify animal tracks in the snow and explore the Seneca Point cave.

If there is no snow the night of the event, the group will hike instead.

Hot chocolate will be provided at the conclusion of the evening.
