Special Needs Camp Cadet Day Camp Slated for October

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – State Police will be hosting a Special Needs Camp Cadet Day Camp on October 11 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

The event is from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C, Punxsutawney, along with Troop C Citizens for Camp Cadet, will be hosting a day camp for special needs boys and girls at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, just off Interstate 80 near Exit 81.

Troop C, Special Needs Day Camp will include presentations from several entities of the Emergency Services Fields.

The camp is for special needs youngsters 10-21 years of age from Jefferson, Clarion, and Clearfield counties.

Applications for those wanting to attend or assist in the event are available through local schools.

Jefferson County Fairgrounds is located just off I-80, at Exit 81 Hazen/Brookville, in Jefferson County.
