Mr. Uplinger was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
He was a very proud and patriotic man.
He was a founding member of the Jefferson County Veteran’s Honor Guard and volunteered many hours honoring fellow Veteran’s and participating in local veteran events.
He was laid to rest in the Reynoldsville Cemetery where military honors were accorded by the Jefferson County Veteran’s Honor Guard.
