Bill Kemmerer served our country in the United States Army.

Name: William Kemmerer (Bill)

Born: June 16, 1931

Died: February 28, 2024

Hometown: Brookville, Pa.

Branch: U.S. Army

Bill entered the United States Army during The Korean War.

He was stationed in the Republic of Korea and earned a Korean War Service Medal for his heroism.

On June 25, 2000, in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the war, Bill received a letter from former President of South Korea, Kim Dae-jung, thanking him for his service and sacrifice.

He also served the community through his membership with the Richardsville Methodist Church.
