DUBOIS, Pa. – Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the upcoming LION ROAR 5K.
This fun run or walk event is set to take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024. The race will start at 10:00 AM, with registration opening at 9:30 a.m. The start and finish line will be located at the Penn State DuBois PAW Center.
This event is presented by the DuBois Educational Foundation (DEF) and hosted by the Penn State DuBois Campus and the Penn State DuBois Alumni Society. The LION ROAR 5K is part of the WE ARE Weekend happening on April 5 & 6, 2024.
The LION ROAR 5K is not just about the race, it’s about making a difference. The proceeds from the event will benefit student programs and initiatives such as high school dual enrollment. This is a great opportunity to get active and support a good cause at the same time.
The race is open to everyone, from serious runners to casual walkers. The registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for students from kindergarten to college. Please note that the adult registration fee will increase to $25 after March 29th. Children aged 5 and under can participate for free.
