Stanley Earl Bish

BishStanley Earl Bish, age 81, of Rocky Lane Brockport, Pa., died on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born in Hawthorne, Pa. on May 20, 1935, the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Custer Bish.

He was married to Jean White and she precedes him in death.

He then married Joan Edinger and she preceded him in death on June 25, 2004.

Retired, Stanley had been employed at the Johnsonburg Paper Mill, now Domtar. He was Protestant by faith.

Stanley was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirate fan and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters Brenda Overbeck of DuBois and Kari Bish of Big Run; two sons Troy Bish of Brockport and Tracy Bish of Alexandria, Va.; three step-daughters Donna Walker of DuBois; Laura Patricelli of Ridgway; Barb (Jon) Weston of Johnsonburg; three step-sons Joe (Louise) Woodford of St. Marys; Dan (Maria) Woodford and Jeff Woodford both of Ridgway; grandchildren Dave, Paula and Ross Bish, Christopher Overbeck, Hailey McCauley, Kristi and Shawn Woodford, Amanda Dietrick, Jennifer Johnson, Rick Walker, Brandon Patricelli, Mallory Weston, Kyle and Jim Woodford. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Stanley is also preceded in death by a brother Clarence Bish, a sister Elsie Senior and a granddaughter Alexandria Bish.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor Faith Bryan officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
