State Police Calls: Criminal Trespass, DUI, Harassment, Child Endangerment

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Trespass in Young Township

Punxsutawney-based State Police say sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on August 27, a door was forcefully opened at a church on South Main Street Extension in Young Township, Jefferson County.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact Punxsutawney-based State Police at 814-938-0510.

DUI in Young Township

Around 11:33 p.m. on August 28, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2007 Saturn, operated by 49-year-old Coral Castellar, of Walson, on North Chestnut Street near its intersection with Walston Road in Young Township, Jefferson County, due to Castellar having a suspended driver’s license.

Police say Castellar appeared to be under the influence and was then taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

Harassment in Young Township

Around 8:02 p.m. on August 26, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated an investigation into a report of harassment that reportedly occurred at a location on Harmony Road in Young Township, Jefferson County.

Child Endangerment in Young Township

Around 1:38 p.m. on August 25, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to Punxsutawney Hospital for a report of drugs in the urine of a known one-year-old child from Anita.

The investigation is ongoing.
