State Police Calls: Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, DUI

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Disorderly Conduct in Young Township

Around 5:09 p.m. on November 21, numerous neighbors on Young Road in Young Township, Jefferson County, contacted the Punxsutawney-based State Police relating a possible domestic incident was taking place.

Police say at the scene, a known 36-year-old Punxsutawney man and a known 34-year-old female victim from Punxsutawney were interviewed, and charges were filed against the man through District Court 54-3-01.

The name of the accused was not released.

Criminal Mischief in Henderson Township

Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 12:41 a.m. on November 21, a known individual drove their vehicle through an agricultural field on Rock Dump Road near Paradise Road in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the incident caused damage as the vehicle dug up the surface of the field in some areas.

The name of the driver was not released.

DUI in Punxsutawney Borough

Around 11:30 p.m. on November 21, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Pine Street in Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County, for an equipment violation.

Police say the driver of the vehicle appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances and was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The name of the driver was not released.
