State Police Calls: DUI, Overdose Incident

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in McCalmont Township

Around 2:16 p.m. on April 3, Punxsutawney-based State Police encountered a 2002 Chevrolet along Texas Road in McCalmont Township.

Police say the driver, identified as 27-year-old Tyler Hetrick, of Pittsburgh, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Hetrick was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Overdose Incident in Henderson Township

Around 10:24 p.m. on April 2, Punxsutawney-based State Police were called to a location on Paradise Road in Henderson Township for a report of a female who was unresponsive after overdosing on approximately five Oxycontin.

Police say the woman was subsequently transported to Penn Highland DuBois Hospital for medical treatment.
