State Police Calls: Police Seeking Information on Stolen Vehicle in Washington Township

Police Seek Information on Stolen Vehicle

DuBois-based State Police are asking for the public’s help with information related to a stolen vehicle last week.

Police say the vehicle, a silver 2001 Saab 9-3, was reported stolen on June 18 by the victim, a 65-year-old Bloomsburg man.

The vehicle was stolen on June 14, sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 8:25 p.m.

It is believed the vehicle was stolen along Interstate 80, between mile markers 91.6 and 91.8 westbound, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

Drug Possession in Sandy Twp.

PSP DuBois conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado along Interstate 80, in Sandy Township, Clearfield County, on May 28.

According to a release issued on June 21, the operator, 51-year-old Robert Childress, of Maryland, was found to have a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle.

Related charges were filed.

Harassment in Snyder Twp.

Police investigated a domestic dispute at a residence along Rattlesnake Road, in Snyder Township, Jefferson County, on May 30.

According to a release issued on June 21, troopers responded to the residence for a domestic dispute around 5:18 p.m.

After speaking with both involved individuals, they agreed to not seek prosecution.

No one was injured in the dispute.
