State Police Calls: Child Endangerment, Assault, Theft by Deception, Drug Arrest

State PoliceJEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Huston Township

Police are investigating a reported neglect of a known, 3-year-old female at a residence in Huston Township, Clearfield County.

The incident occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on January 29.

No other information was released.

Assault Reported in Snyder Township

A known, 12-year-old male reported being assaulted by a known male at a residence in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

The incident allegedly occurred sometime between January 22, 2016, and January 26, 2016.

The investigation continues.

No other information was provided.

Theft by Deception/Bad Checks in Brady Township

A known suspect passed two checks to a Luthersburg man that were returned on a closed account.

The incident occurred sometime between November 4, 2015, and November 27, 2015, at the Saw Mill along State Route 410, Shamokin Trail, in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

The investigation continues.

The name of the suspect was not released.

Drug Arrest Made in Washington Township

A known suspect discarded a backpack containing a suspected controlled substance in violation of Act 64.

The incident occurred sometime between 7:44 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on January 17, 2016, on Interstate 80 West, near mile marker 89.4, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

The investigation continues.

The name of the suspect was not released.
